■あらすじ
サラは5歳の頃、両親が突然行方不明（実際は集団自殺した）になり、
施設で育てられた。
施設従業員から「前の家に入ってはいけない」と言われていたため、
両親と住んでいた家には近づかなかった。
 
平凡な毎日を過ごす中、幼い頃に離れ離れになった両親がずっと気がかりだったサラ。
18歳の誕生日を迎えたことをキッカケに、両親の手掛かりを探すために、
覚悟を決めて両親と住んでいた家を訪れる。
 
引き出しの中に母のブレスレットをみつけたサラは、それを家に持ち帰ることにした。
 
このブレスレットが、彼女を悲劇へと導いてしまう。
 
 
■設定
サラは“青い血を持つ人々”の末裔であり、血液が青い。
これは、通常の血液に含まれるヘモグロビンの替わりに、ヘモシアニンを持っているためだ。
 
“青い血を持つ人々”は、1920年に藪敷村（やぶしきむら）で初めて観測され、30年間もの間NHC（政府の秘密研究機関）による強制管理と非人道的な人体実験を受けていた。
その支配から逃れようと“青い血を持つ人々”が選択した道は集団自殺だった。
当時5歳だったサラは、母親の手によって集団自殺から逃がされていた。
 
サラが両親の家から持ち帰るブレスレットは、NHCが”青い血を持つ人々”を管理する際に強制的に装着させていた監視デバイスであり、
“青い血を持つ人々”の特徴的な脈拍を検知することで、位置情報が通知される仕掛けになっていた。
 
 
■本編で描くストーリー概要
本編では、”青い血を持つ人々”を利用した人体実験を推進するべく、
その末裔を探しているNHCと、その手から逃れようとする主人公サラを描く。
 
ブレスレットによって位置情報が共有され、”青い血を持つ人々”の生き残りだとバレてしまったサラは、研究途中の生物兵器”オーファン”に追われることになる。

■Synopsis
 
When Sara was five years old, her parents suddenly went missing (in reality, they committed mass suicide), leaving her to be raised in an orphanage.
 
The orphanage staff warned her, “Never go back to your old home,” so she never approached the house where she had once lived with her parents.
 
Despite living an ordinary life, Sara could never shake off the feeling of wanting to know what had happened to her parents. On her 18th birthday, she finally musters the courage to search for clues and returns to her childhood home.
 
Inside a drawer, she finds her mother’s bracelet and decides to take it home.
 
Unbeknownst to her, this bracelet will lead her down a path of tragedy.
 
 
■Setting
Sara is a descendant of the “People with Blue Blood”—a rare group whose blood is blue due to the presence of hemocyanin instead of hemoglobin.
 
The “People with Blue Blood” were first discovered in 1920 in Yabushiki Village and were subjected to 30 years of forced control and inhumane experiments by a secret government research agency known as NHC.
 
To escape their suffering, the “People with Blue Blood” chose mass suicide. However, Sara, who was five at the time, was secretly saved by her mother before the tragedy unfolded.
 
The bracelet Sara takes from her parents’ house was once used by NHC to track and monitor the “People with Blue Blood.”
The device detects their distinctive pulse pattern and transmits location data.
 
■Main Story Overview
 
The main story follows Sara as she tries to escape from the NHC, which is still conducting experiments and searching for survivors of the “People with Blue Blood” in order to exploit their unique biology.
 
When Sara takes the bracelet, it activates and exposes her existence as one of the last survivors. Now, she is relentlessly hunted by “Orphan”—a biological weapon still in the experimental phase.
